whenever there is a conflict, the package manager will tell me that my disk is lacking 3GB - even before I know what the conflict is. Whenever I resolve the conflict, it tells me that I have 700MB free space.

This bug is highly annoying together with autocheck enabled.

Improved in 3.24.1.

While there is no valid solver result the pool contains only items selected by the user. In that case disk usage has to guess what the solver would do. So there is still a certain blur.
