Missing support in libzypp? @Thomas: The resolver checks the packages 'vendor' field, and will not automatically replace a package with one of a different vendor. So unless the vendor string you used in your specfile starts with 'suse' or 'opensuse', you have to confirm any replacement (except the case where you manually select a different dar version). @Duncan: You started to implement permanent locks. But AFAIK it still depends on the application using zypp, whether the locks are applied? It's not done by default? *** Bug 287683 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Thomas, the locks are not supported by the UI yet. You can manually lock packages using /etc/zypp/locks file and adding package names (* supported) even capabilities like kde* < 3.5 *** Bug 335485 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 332853 *** |
