Description Johan Ferner 2007-09-23 13:45:00 UTC
After upgrading from default RC1 kernel to 2.6.22.5-25-default I can't use my Intel Pro/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection.

It did work after the initial install. ipw3945d did run after the initial install.

Now all I can select is iwl3945 and that obviously does not work.

Reading some other bugreports I'm afraid that you are thinking about removing ipw3945 support in favour of iwl3945. Please don't. I hope ipw3945 will return to my kernel soon... :)

I'm trying the KNetworkManager and wpa_supplicant. Both fail.

$rpm -qa|grep -i ipw
ipw3945-kmp-debug-1.2.2_2.6.22.5_23-2
ipw-firmware-8-42
ipw3945d-1.7.22-6

$uname -a
Linux gae1l0ee 2.6.22.5-29-default #1 SMP 2007/09/20 15:19:04 UTC i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
