On IBMs ThinkPad T41, since openSUSE 10.3 RC1 the /dev/sda is not detected correctly. 

- size incorrect
- logical volumes invisible

This leads to parted not being able to identify the partitions where YAST should install openSUSE 10.3 (here /dev/sda6 and sda7). The installation is impossible.

The installation worked for openSUSE BETA1 to BETA3.
