Description Stanislav Brabec 2007-10-02 10:00:48 UTC
It is convenient to switch windows after confirming of packages to install (using sw_single) and don't care about progress bars. But it is not possible with YaST2 GTK - each new pop-up progress bar gets focus, even if the main window does not have focus.

It is at least incomfortable, in worse case it causes unwanted pressing of "Abort" (which hopefully does nothing).

Test this with yast-qt -- same behavior. Metacity doesn't deal well with out-of-nowhere dialogs. Let's assign this bug to YCP guys (integrate this progress dialog in the main window with the rest of the tasks).

Opened another bug for Metacity: #331835
