I'm now on OpenSUSE 11 A1

My 514 is on USB (as usually all newer PALM)

This looks to me like a KDE-pim problem in using QT too..
SO it is now a OpenSUSE 11 bug too!

Can I help to fix/debug?
How?
Comment 2 Joachim Reichelt 2008-01-29 22:04:15 UTC
It is still there in:
kdepim3-kpilot-3.5.7.enterprise.0.20070904.708012-47
and openSUSE 11.0 A1
Comment 3 Joachim Reichelt 2008-03-27 20:41:52 UTC
The crash seems to be fixed, but now my Palm is not recognized.
The Palm gets a timeout, but seems to be contacted by kpilot.
Kpilot does not recognize the Palm at all.
Same for Palm M515 and T|X
But sync on a hand installed Palm is (still) o.k., even now with the T|X I can
sync by pressing the button on the palm.
This is 11.0Alpha3 and
kdepim3-kpilot-3.5.9-19

This is better than a crash :-;

Please report upstream at bugs.kde.org. I lack the hardware and resources to debug all pilot issues - it works with my Visor.
