Description Ulrich Derenthal 2007-10-07 21:24:36 UTC
I updated from 10.2 to 10.3. During the installation, I configured by network card by DHCP and added online repositories.

After the installation, I got error messages during startup when the network was initialized. In Yast, I saw that my ethernet card appeared twice (once configured as DHCP, and once with a fixed IP as I had before the update).

After deleting the old card and reconfiguring the new card to a fixed IP, everything is back to the state I want.

(So I don't really care any longer, but I wanted to let you know...)

Please attach your yast logs (http://en.opensuse.org/YaST/Bugs). It might be related to Bug 308971.

Christian, after upgrade at the same time exists ifcfg-eth-id-xx:xx:... and ifcfg-eth-0 (sysconfig postinstall script?)

This is probably duplicate of something already fixed ...
