Description Magnus Anderson 2007-10-16 10:43:22 UTC
The update notification applet should be automatically refreshed after a system update has been performed. As of now the icon still reports there are the same amount of updates left after a update.

Solution:
Call the update for the applet after YaST Update has been performed?
Comment 1 Stephan Binner 2007-10-16 12:25:21 UTC
That is with the GNOME or the KDE update applet?
Comment 2 Magnus Anderson 2007-10-16 18:17:24 UTC
Sorry, It's for the GNOME applet
Comment 3 David Smith 2007-10-23 07:58:23 UTC
The GNOME applet does update its icon unless you select to do the update with the 'Details' button. If you do not select the Details option then there is a refresh done once the update is complete and confirmed.
It is very annoying that the refresh does not happen with details - it is useful to select details so you know what is being done to your system.

The version with which you had the bug is now obsolete. I'll close this as NORESPONSE. If you can still reproduce it in current 11.4, please reopen the bug and move it to the appropriate version. Thanks!
