Description Joe Morris 2007-10-17 12:40:20 UTC
I see the following in my logs. Not even totally sure what this package is supposed to do (or maybe how it is supposed to automatically configure a cups printer). I cannot say I even understand when it happens, but I have seen it several times since updating to 10.3 The error is:
Oct 17 18:59:40 jmorris kernel: hal-cups-autoco[4492] general protection rip:2b73a049fbd0 rsp:7fff0b7f8328 error:0 If I can get more info let me know how or where.

A duplicate - it detects a printer via hal and tries to configure it automatically. If you can figure out how to trigger that crash (maybe plugging in some sort of device?) that would help a great deal.
