Description August Hörandl 2007-10-18 10:54:17 UTC
older yast versions had an option keep rpm after the update. this option is gone with yast in opensuse 10.3

background: i have several pcs, some with a poor internet connection. i used to transfer the rpms via usb-stick to this machines and installed without downloading .

it would be nice if i would be possible to keep all files downloaded by yast (even the ones from other repositories) - its no fun to download the ati/fglx kernel or the win32codec again and again

Yes it is known regression. Feature request to bring it back already exists and AFAIK it's under developement.
