Description Felipe Alvarez 2007-10-29 01:56:30 UTC
Hardware: HP/Compaq nx7400. Onboard Intel graphics. No problems of this sort on openSUSE 10.2.

Resuming from s2ram (suspend to ram) on openSUSE 10.3 my backlight returns to 100%. Before suspending, i had it at about 5/11 steps (there are 11 brightness steps in total). After resuming, I press either the up/down ^/v arrows for brightness, the screen jumps back down to where I left off (example step 5/11). This occurs with AC power, and with battery power. I have compiz-fusion installed and running. This is from a factory installation of 10.3 (with compiz-fusion addons installed on top)

Any relevance? <a href="https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=309494">Bug 309494</a>.

Based on Comment #4, I think we can safely make that assumption.
