Repository 'updates' is out-of-date. You can run 'zypper refresh' as root to update it.
ZyppSearch::setupRegexp(): .*g++.* is not a valid regular expression: "Invalid preceding regular expression"
This is a bug, please file a bug report against zypper.

I would say this is an annoying bug worth to fix both in trunk and 10.3

Hm. I gave it a low importance and did not fix it for 10.3, so i don't know. But for 11.0 it will be gone for sure.
