Description Karl Eichwalder 2007-11-10 20:19:12 UTC
My machine has an internal SCSI CD drive and an external USB connected DVD drive. I have the DVD in the USB drive added as a "software repo".

When yast asks during package installation to eject DVD 1 and I press Alt-E (ncurses UI), yast opens the tray of the internal CD drive instead of the external USB device.

[BTW, as long as I do not press Alt-E, pressing the hardware button on the DVD drive does not succeed.]

y2log - opening internal drive instead of the external drive

Different machine, but the same behavior. It opens sr0 instead of sr1, when pressing "eject" in yast.

Thanx. This should be fixed in 11.0 Alpha3 (fate #120298) where you should be able to choose which device to eject. I'll close this bug now, if you will have the same kind of trouble in 11.0 Alpha3 and later, please reopen it.
