Description Forgotten User CxVz4LpaB5 2007-11-15 01:39:10 UTC
I was trying to repair my grub configuration. One thing that usually works well is to boot with the dvd, then use either the repair option or boot the installed system and configure grub fron the booted system.

I have booted with the DVD, then selected the option 'Installation', 'Other', 'Boot Installed System'. The login prompt appear a very short time after (no x server running at this time) and whatever account I tried, a message says 'Error in service module'

So I have tried to boot the DVD with the Repair option. Which ends with a red message box saying 'An error occured during the installation' and again I can't do anything from here.

I have also tried the live CD with no luck.
Any suggestion to repair grib from the DVD or the live CD and maybe some tips to solve the 'service error' issue?
Thanks
