Description Ulrich Windl 2007-11-16 14:42:00 UTC
When launching "yast2 sw_single" from a terminal, I get odd (not talking about German) output like this:
Gtk-Message: (for origin information, set GTK_DEBUG): failed to retrieve property `GtkTreeView::odd-row-color' of type `GdkColor' from rc file value "((GString*) 0xd164d30)" of type `GString'

** (gtk:23037): WARNING **: Unknown tag 'juhliariksuse.cz'

I suspect that some E-Mail addresses are treated as XML start tags somewhere.
I had been searching for "kdump" in the software selection (in case that matters).

Please attach y2logs. If you are in doubt follow:

Thanks!

It looks way similar to bug #341827.

Yep, email tags (e.g.: <user@domain.com>) not being escaped. This has been worked while fixing bug #331527.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 331527 ***

I don't know if it helps, but you requested it.

Yeah, Cyril did, but they are rarely of use (i.e. when we can't reproduce the problem), so I rather we ask them when necessary.

We might roll yast-gtk on updates (not because of this bug :)). In any case, we should definitively put it on Build Service.
