Description William Anderson 2007-11-24 20:01:21 UTC
When using the 1-click install links* on the opensuse.org website, the "run as root" password dialogue opens behind the main YaST window.

It is a simple workaround, just clicking the relevant entry on the taskbar will bring it to the front in order to enter the root password and continue with the installation, but if the dialogue simply opened in front it wouldn't be an issue. The first few times it happened I thought the install had hung and so killed the process and started again.

I have no compiz type products running. Nothing more than the standard KDE that was installed with openSUSE 10.3.

If it helps...
~>kde-config --version
Qt: 3.3.8
KDE: 3.5.7 "release 72.2"
kde-config: 1.0

*(for example today I was installing lomoco from http://software.opensuse.org/search?p=1&q=lomoco&baseproject=openSUSE%3A10.3 )
