The console makes this look like a duplicate of Bug 343858 ... except that you're seeing the console *after* logging in. Does this user log in automatically when the computer is started, or do you get a login screen? Thanks Mark, yes I'm logged in automatically, I don't have to type my login information when I start my computer. That's what I figured. Created attachment 185199 [details] Screenshot I updated openSUSE as I always do and now everytime I start my computer, xconsole is opened together with Gnome. Please see attached screenshot.
