Description Rupert Horstkötter 2007-12-04 14:32:29 UTC
Before gdm is started, there appears an ugly gray background and a xconsole window at the bottom-left of the screen.
If autologin is enabled in gdm, this xconsole window remains opened on the gnome-desktop (also in bottom-left position) and could only be closed by root, e.g. using "killall xconsole".
this does not happen if autologin is disabled in gdm.
