Oh, I should also mention that I tried resetting the Dual Head Mode resolution to 1440x900 (I noticed it was set to 1024x768 just a minute ago) also does not fix the problem (I tried both logging out and back in again after setting the Dual Head resolution in SaX and also rebooting, neither fixed it). On a positive note, the xconsole window does not seem to be displaying anymore... due to yesterday's kernel upgrade perhaps? The latest updates have #1 fixed. The second two are filed and are intel 945 specific, federico is in the process of fixing them. Test packages are available. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 343858 *** |
