Description Toni Harbaugh-Blackford 2007-12-07 16:06:56 UTC
Created attachment 186409 [details]
gzip'd directory of logs from after core dump, includin yast2

In the screen where the devices are probed and installation searches for linux
partitions, immediately after successfully doing the "Evaluate update possibilities"
entry, YaST2 segfaults and dumps core.

The following message is displayed:

/usr/lib/YaST2/startup/YaST2.call: line 464: 2958 Segmentation fault (core dumped) $OPT_FBITERM y2base "$Y2_MODULE_NAME" $Y2_MODE_FLAGS $Y2_MODULE_ARGS $Y2_MODE $Y2_UI_ARGS

I will attach the yast2 logs, console logs and a jpg of the error message
screen capture so you can see the context. The core dump is 5MB compressed
so it is probably too big to transfer
