can this customer use the kde4 krandrtray? it has all those features already. The question was based on a doc comment we got regarding the openSUSE 10.3 manuals - I guess KDE 4 krandtray was probably not an option at that time ;). After talking to dkukawka, I filed this bugzilla entry as we could reproduce the issue with 10.3 (while it had worked fine with SLE SP1). Good to hear it will probably work again with KDE 4 but what should we tell the 10.3 users then? To use KDE 4 krandtray instead if they want to use Tablet PCs? well, preferably that, or I'd make it work for KDE3 again (I know that there is a patch that removes those options in our sources). I just want to know if there is customer demand to get it working specifically with KDE3 for whatever reason. if there is not, I would not like to invest time in it and just say "use KDE4". *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 385149 *** |
