Comment 2 Arvin Schnell 2007-12-16 21:20:59 UTC
Is that alpha for ppc a correct build? Currently, and IIRC also over the
last weeks, many yast2 packages are failing to build on ppc.
Comment 3 Arvin Schnell 2007-12-17 12:08:37 UTC
E.g. yast2-storage in full-ppc dates back to 25th Nov, yast2-country
even back to 7th Nov. Currently over 20 yast2 packages are failing
to build with an aborting ycpc. Testing this is useless.

Martin, as maintainer of yast2-core please look into the build issue.
Comment 4 Stefan Assmann 2007-12-18 08:53:03 UTC
this build is on SLP as Alpha2, so this should be a valid build for ppc right?
Comment 5 Martin Vidner 2007-12-20 09:33:33 UTC
"Alpha2" is wrong. We only have Alpha 0.

Comment 3: yes, that is the result of bug 228176.
Comment 6 Cristian Rodriguez 2007-12-26 05:34:59 UTC
seeing this on virtualbox x86 as well, not sure if it is exactly the same problem though.
Comment 7 Martin Vidner 2008-01-02 10:14:14 UTC
A different one, probably. PPC crashes because of inconsistent builds, but on x86 it builds fine. Please file a new bug.
Comment 8 Martin Vidner 2008-04-16 09:59:16 UTC
It seems it was an inconsistent build because of bug 228176.
