Looks like at least logrotate on my 10.3 box does not depend on cron. cron is still missing in the minimal pattern it seems see also https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=292091 because cron is not required by itself in a minimal system. If logrotate requires it for minimum functionality, then be it. But I would even think logrotate is already not needed in a minimal system. In a well working system, logrotate is a requirement, but not in a _minimal_ one. weakened requires for logrotate to recommends in aaa_base |
