Description Klaus Singvogel 2007-12-22 12:35:05 UTC
After installation of "flash-player-9.0.115.0-0.1" last night, Update ID: 4855, I cannot watch any flahs plugins in KDE browser konqueror anymore. I see an empty frame only, and randomly I get the KDE Crash Handler popup: nspluginviewer died with SIGSEGV (11).
The backtrace is empty, only one symbol with random characters visible.

To reproduce open: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Yl5CcL51Oc
I'm running openSUSE 10.3 on a 64bit machine (AMD64).

I notice that this happens NOT in firefox, and NOT in seascape (mozilla).

I think this crash is security related: therefore added security team.

Basically you need the old version if you want flash to work properly in konqueror, but the new version has security fixes. Blame Adobe.
