Certain security settings don't make much sense for most openSUSE users, i.e. those single-user PCs. For example, adding the only user to the audio, video, cdrom, and similar groups should be done automatically. There might be more security settings which would remove a large set of common complaints. I'm not involved in the making of the installation procedure, so perhaps this has already been taken care of in one way or the other. See bug #350999.

Its a bug if you cannot access this as logged in user, because we have this set up to work already using ACLs.
