On selecting "Extras/Verify System" from the yast2 sw_single menu, sw_single reports: "System Dependencies verify OK", while smart package manager reports:

Um, the output seems to broken for me:

It requires "package", "provides" and "no"??

Ähm, I do not know what smart does here. But a testcase would be very nice in order to check, what YaST does here:

Yes, the dependencies look very strange.

OK I found the reason. It is the same as Bug 355039
