Description Gareth Fiford 2008-01-23 10:03:40 UTC
Latest xorg-x11 and xorg in updates breaks java apps with a memory error.

This has already been fixed in ubuntu, this upstream bug only seems to affect x86, other architectures seem un affected for instance x86_64, i don't have a z series to test on so could be in powerpc as well.

The problem can be worked around by rolling back to: xorg-x11-7.2-135 in the oss repositories

this affects apps such as eclipse. and any other java gui application

Well, I tried other Java applications, like jedit and limewird down to a simple graphical "Hello World", which are *not* affected. Anyway, it's a duplicate.
