I updated to KDE 3.5.8 using the packages in ftp://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/repositories/KDE%3A/KDE3/openSUSE_10.3

Unfortunately, the IMAP resources in Kontact (to store address book, calendar, ... on my IMAP server) stopped working.

The folders do not have a special icon any longer, and there is no way to select their special function in the properties context menu of the folders. However, in the settings dialog of kmail, the settings for IMAP workgroup functions still exist and are activated.
