Comment 3 Willem Meens 2008-03-31 16:11:37 UTC
Correction : audio files play, it's the system sounds that are not playing (login/logout/etc). Using GNOME.

When using the 'Sounds' configuration panel in the Control Center testing gives the the signal sound but trying to let a selected system to play results in silence.

Hi,

 When I don't select the event_sounds in /desktop/sound/ gconf-editor, it's no log anymore. :), maybe it's helpful.
Comment 7 Magnus Boman 2008-05-03 03:20:07 UTC
Still an issue in Beta2
Comment 8 Magnus Boman 2008-05-06 04:52:18 UTC
This seems to be fixed when following Comment#29 in https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=375701 so marking this one as depends.
Comment 9 Rodrigo Moya 2008-05-06 10:44:57 UTC
bug #375701 is now fixed, so re-open this one if you see it after having updated the pulseaudio packages
