( and the last 3 lines keep looping over and over) Running ' polkit-config-file-validate /usr/share/PolicyKit/policy/PulseAudio.policy' returns the exact same errors as stated in Comment #1 Correction : audio files play, it's the system sounds that are not playing (login/logout/etc). Using GNOME. When using the 'Sounds' configuration panel in the Control Center testing gives the the signal sound but trying to let a selected system to play results in silence. Also seen in beta 1 (32-bit version) mainly ... Still an issue in Beta2 This seems to be fixed when following Comment#29 in https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=375701 so marking this one as depends. bug #375701 is now fixed, so re-open this one if you see it after having updated the pulseaudio packages *** Bug 390123 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
