I selected another screen resolution 1600x1200 during installation. But afterwards X did not start. A look into xorg.conf showed why. There are entries in following form inside:

"1600x12001600x1200" "1600x10241600x12001600x1200" "1600x1024" "1600x10001600x12001600x1200"
