During configuration of the sound card using Yast in the text mode, Yast reported that kernel module snd-ens1371 could not be loaded.  My sound card is a Creative Sound Blaster AudioPCI64V.

The sound card could be configured using alsaconf; therefore, the problem seems to be in Yast rather than in the kernel.  With the problem restricted to Yast and a workaround available, I'm marking this as a duplicate of 362048.
