Description asko isonokari 2008-02-16 19:18:29 UTC
In Yast/Network card there's no access to field to input HOMEPNA=1. (PCNET32 is there.)
AMD 79c978 [HomePNA] is the card.
Unfortunatey HomePNA stays ignored almost in every release.

Kind regards

Asko Isonokari

What does "HOMEPNA=1" do? If it's somewhere documented, please attach link here.
Thanks,
Michal

Created attachment 197010 [details]
printscreen of network card settigs

YaST-Network devices-Network Card-Hardware. Module name (pcnet=32) is ok. No access to next field to input (homepna=1). Sorry, all in Finnish in picture.
Comment 3 Michal Zugec 2008-02-26 10:17:45 UTC
This is not possible now because we removed hwcfg files.
as workaround you can create /etc/modprobe.d/pcnet32 with content:
options pcnet32 homepna=1
