Description Takashi Iwai 2008-02-18 14:16:20 UTC
With the recent FACTORY packages, my laptop doesn't go back to X properly after resuming from hibernation. When resumed:
- The splash goes to 100% and the machine accesses disks, then gets quiet.
- The splash screen stays and the system doesn't go to X.
I cannot change VT via alt+F*, too.

But alt+sysrq works at this stage. So, once after I do alt+sysrq+K to kill the current session, I get the full graphic control again, i.e. can go to X via alt+F7.

Just talked to Takashi. It's an Intel 855GM laptop. The issue occurs in STABLE since a few weeks now.
