Description Juergen Weigert 2008-02-20 10:52:35 UTC
Undock button on the left side of the docking station freezes the machine. Num lock still switches its led.
docker undock turns the undock light to green, without freezing.

This is caused by a change in the libata stack resulting in a race condition triggered by HAL. I already sent patches to lkml to fix this properly. The patches still need some fine tunings, so stay tuned...

Can you please try the kernel from my home project?
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=kernel-default&project=home%3Ahmacht

Also, please remove package dockutils before testing, the new kernel obsoletes this package. Thanks.

I had no luck with alpha2, did fallback to 10.3
Will try build-00103 or later.
