Description JP Rosevear 2008-02-29 01:37:12 UTC
Review need for cdda backend in gvfs. There is a cdda launcher in gnome-volume-manager too.

Hrm. JP, what was this bug about? Is this still valid? :-)
Comment 2 JP Rosevear 2009-04-29 04:56:33 UTC
We had been disabling the cdda backend in gnome-vfs this was a placeholder to check to see if we really needed it in gvfs. I think Federico did the disablement in gnome-vfs
Comment 3 Federico Mena Quintero 2009-04-30 02:34:41 UTC
Hmmm, what actually uses the CDDA backend?

[We disabled this in gnome-vfs, if I remember correctly, due to persistent security holes and that Banshee was a better CD-ripping solution than Nautilus.]
Comment 4 Vincent Untz 2010-11-27 09:57:52 UTC
Let's keep it: it's not incompatible with banshee & friends, and upstream keeps it.
