Hrm. JP, what was this bug about? Is this still valid? :-) We had been disabling the cdda backend in gnome-vfs this was a placeholder to check to see if we really needed it in gvfs. I think Federico did the disablement in gnome-vfs Hmmm, what actually uses the CDDA backend? [We disabled this in gnome-vfs, if I remember correctly, due to persistent security holes and that Banshee was a better CD-ripping solution than Nautilus.] Let's keep it: it's not incompatible with banshee & friends, and upstream keeps it. |
