Description John Bailo 2008-03-02 20:36:21 UTC
openSuse Updater:
  Update Applet Preferences

I selected

-Include optional patches in additional updates
-Include 3rd party updates in additional updates

Right now, an orange sun symbol is showing indicating there are patches.

If I click on the Updater, it says "New software for your system is available".

There are 0 mandatory updates, and 15 additional.

I check
-Include 15 additional updates.

If I select Install, it asks for the root password, appears to be installing and then ends. However, at the end of the process, it still shows 15 "additional updates" ready to install.

If I select "Details", it bring sup the patch selector dialog. This dialog is empty...there are no patches. If I continue anyway and select Install, it appears to do something. But at the end, Updater still shows 15 patches ready to install.

One more question, is this KDE or Gnome version?
