Description Jan-Christoph Bornschlegel 2008-03-03 15:04:08 UTC
I did a fresh installation of Alpha2/KDE/x86_64 on a new blank machine.

Mainly clicked "next" except Software selection and partitioning.
changes:
+ system part / uses ext2 instead of ext3
+ /home shrinked
+ added extended part with one logical mounted to /space using xfs

After the (successful) firstboot configuration I noticed that my keyboard layout was en_us although I chose de_DE. I tried to change this with YaST->System->Language dialog.

First of all, wrong dialog for that. Still, I added German as secondary language and clicked "next" which created the following message:
"YaST2 got signal 11 at YCP file Wizard.ycp:273
/sbin/yast2: line 439: 3335 Segfault"
