Description Forgotten User vs5edErKRK 2008-03-06 15:32:25 UTC
When I add nearly all development packages in a KDE install with Gnome added I get a lot of dependency errors at the end.

can you try to be more specific about what fails ?
Comment 2 Forgotten User vs5edErKRK 2008-03-06 16:59:35 UTC
They were so many. At the end whatever I click on gave some this file is missing. I didn't take notes. I think I got one error when trying to add java development. I added them from top and down. It's difficult to write down file names like develop-java-1.5.0-x86_64-rpm, especially when you get lots of them.

Checked Gnome and KDE 3 Base System
Under development checked:
.NET
YaST
linux kernel
Ruby
Python
C/C++
Java -> nothing provides ant-antlr needed by pattern:devel_java-11.0-34_x86_64
(this error comes up even if the above packages are not checked)
Qt4
web
KDE
Cell
Ruby on Rails
rpm-build environment
perl
basic development -> pattern:devel_C_C++-11.0-34_x86_64 requires pattern:devel_basics, but non of the providers can be installed
