The white text on lightgrey background in Yast modules is really hard to read.
See the "white" box under the Expert button on the screenshot.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 365335 ***
Comment 2 Ladislav Michnovic 2008-03-06 17:25:49 UTC
The blue and red text on dark gray background in other places (for expample in Installation summary) could be IMHO a problem for colour blind people.
Comment 3 Ladislav Michnovic 2008-03-06 17:29:58 UTC
This is not a duplicate.
The bug #365335 is fixed in yast2-theme-2.16.15 but I have that version.
The reported problem (screenshot with languages) is fixed in Alpha2+ but my problem still persists.
Comment 4 Stefan Hundhammer 2008-03-07 10:07:46 UTC
AFAICS this is intentional - part of that widget theme.

Coolo?
Comment 5 Jakub Steiner 2008-03-07 12:26:03 UTC
It isn't intentional, it's definitely a bug.

Coolo, would you be able to hack up a fake ycp template that would show all/most of the Qt widgets in the main container? Or is there a way to bring up the custompartitioner without doing an actual installation for testing purposes?

its also during opensuse 11.0 alpha3 clean installation from the i386 dvd image, in the very first stage of yast2 during install, there are a number of dropdown boxes, where you select the steps of the first settings during installation (timzezones, softwarepartitioning, bootloader, keyboard/language stuff etc....)

this is also white background with very very light grey, barely readable.

only when you move around the cursor/mouse the focus moves too and one line gets highlighted / inverted and then you can read a single line of the drop down box at a time.

i used 800x600 vesa mode during install on some ati pcie hd2600 card.

please fix the unreadable colors. thank you.
Comment 7 Ladislav Michnovic 2008-04-10 14:59:41 UTC
The Alpha 3+ is still affected, I'm attaching more screenshots with other unreadable places.

I fixed #0 - for everyone else there is hopefully a duplicate. Mixing different issues in one bug is just bad style.
