Description Matthias Butz 2008-03-12 17:20:33 UTC
If you use an hyphen in the initiator name field of the "Service" tab on any position other than the date part of the iqn. notation you get an error that the syntax is invalid.
So it's impossible to use initiator names based on domains including hyphens using the YaST tool, RFC 3721 however does not define such a restriction.

Example:

This works:
iqn.2008-03.de.test:test1

This does not work:
iqn.2008-03.de.hs-furtwangen:test1
