Please send yast2 logs for more informations about it. Visit http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs/YaST to know how obtain logs from yast. Sorry, you needn't send yast2 logs. My fault. Hi Alex, can you hold on to 11.0? ;) If you want I can you give you instructions for how you can have the KDE packager by default. They are very strict with regard to sending out update patches... Yes this is a non-critical RFE. I can wait until 11.0. If you can, please do send my way those directions to default to the KDE packager; however, it would be nice for the GNOME packager to have similar functionality. The only reason I need this functionality is because x86-64 Flash does not always work with x86-64 Firefox, so I revert to i586 Firefox. Much appreciated. Alright, so if you want to use the KDE UI for just the package manager, I suggest adding an entry to Gnome's Yast Control Center: 1. duplicate "/usr/share/applications/YaST2/sw_single.desktop" (e.g. to "sw_single_kde.desktop") 2. change the "Exec" parameter to: /usr/lib/YaST2/bin/y2base sw_single qt 3. change the "Name" parameter to "Software Manager (KDE)" or however you like. 4. profit! ;) |
