NetworkManager log as requested
Seems like wpa_supplicant cannot be started. Could be a duplicate of bug #375155 and bug #373654. To verify that assumption please run "wpa_supplicant -d -u" while NetworkManager is running and see if you can get the networks then. Same problem with openSuse 11.0 Beta1 (live KDE-CD i386) With the Atheros 5212/5213 it works fine Created attachment 210718 [details]

Networkmanager Log with openSsue 11.0 beta1 liveCD
When starting wpa_supplicant manually:
linux:/home/linux # wpa_supplicant -d -u
dbus_bus_request_name[dbus]: Resource temporarily unavailable
Could not request DBus service name: already registered.
Failed to initialize wpa_supplicant
With liveCD the wpa_supplicant is running for me. But the device does not find any network. I am using a TP Link TL-WN 551G with a AR2413 Created attachment 212041 [details]
Some logs Hopfully helpful
I testet the probem with the beta2 liveCD:
same problem. I appended some information bout my maschine. And the Log of Networkmanager, when trying to connect to network manually.
(In reply to comment #7 from Thomas Kamps) > With liveCD the wpa_supplicant is running for me. But the device does not find > any network. Thanks for the info. Could you please verify if "iwlist wlan0 scan" (executed as root) returns any scan results and attach the output of "dmesg"? Created attachment 212046 [details]
