I think the reason is, that icons are now plasmoids. If you remove an plasmoid-icon from the desktop, the corresponding .desktop file is NOT deleted in your ~/Desktop/ folder. That's why they reappear when you change the wallpaper or restart plasma. Same underlying problem (no proper ~/Desktop with Plasma desktop synchronization) as the other bug report. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 372738 *** |
