Description Dean Sawash 2008-04-07 23:04:17 UTC
i can't test it now since sw_single doesn't display installed packages anymore (see #377518), but the bug been persistent throughout the openSUSE11.0 development so i can safely assume it's still there, also happens with the dependency resolver

Interesting -- let's wait till the next 11.0 development build then to do some debugging.

Alright; so please try to reproduce it now -- don't be afraid, it won't touch your system unless you press the Apply button. ;)

To get some debug information, start yast as:
gdb --args /usr/lib/YaST2/bin/y2base sw_single gtk
(type the command "run". then you may have to press Enter a couple of times. If it crashes, type "backtrace", and attach here whatever you get in the terminal.)

(component to YaST2: that's actually preferable because a bunch of problems are related with the rest of yast.)
