Description Alberto Passalacqua 2008-04-20 02:38:55 UTC
Some of the windows of YaST GTK are bigger than the screen on low resolution screens (800x600 for example) and can't be resized.

For example sw_single is not usable because the buttons to proceed are hidden below the panel.

Alberto

changing to "YaST2" component...
Comment 2 Forgotten User h13THG8RK1 2008-05-05 17:38:52 UTC
I massaged it a little bit, but I guess, depending on the font size and stuff, it could always be a problem. Let's get to this Later.
Comment 3 Alberto Passalacqua 2008-05-05 17:45:04 UTC
Let's it be for "later". But it's a bad issue on small screens, and it also affects a 13'' with a 1280 x 800 resolution with certain Yast-GTK windows, while none of these issues appear using the Qt version, so I hope that "later" means "as soon as possible".

Regards.
Alberto

Alright, let's let it be open and I will think of a new layout. As a last case, I guess we could have a widget to collapse the installed/available version controls...

Okay, so I massaged the package controls some more, and got rid of a constraint that wasn't letting the layout to contract. Should work fine now for x600 resolutions.
(might take a bit to get to Factory...)
