Description Karl Eichwalder 2008-04-23 09:00:10 UTC
The labels/texts of some menu items in YCC are longer than one line (that's esp. the case with translations). Centering the second line just looks wrong. Start the second line at the left side the same way as the first line.

It also looks wrong, the single line labels are centered vertically. It would look better (more professional) if you'd align all texts horizontally. Either move it a little bit above or below to be aligned with the first or second line of a two line label.

Unfortunately the widget doesn't support aligning texts like you've requested. Putting much effort into YastCC is worthless because a new ControlCenter (qt4) is in development.

There are different alignments that are supported:
- text below the icon
- text right next to the icon
- text right next to the icon (shortened)

Please find the attached screenshots and tel me which solution you prefer.

thanks for the background info. I'd say, we can keep it as-is for now.
