Description Nikolay Borisov 2008-04-23 14:29:43 UTC
After installing OpenSuse 11 with Gnome as a graphical environment the kernel yelds an error, informing the user there is now default configuration of GDM and thus prevents the GDM from starting. But after logging in with root and typing "startx" Gnome starts. I think this will cause discomfort for new users, not familiar with the command prompt.

What media did you use, LiveCD or DVD? Did you read through the most annoying issues (http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs:Most_Annoying_Bugs_11.0_dev)?
