Description Quentin Jackson 2008-04-23 21:29:06 UTC
I seem to be having many issues with wireless and not even sure if any of the existing bugs logged for it are valid so I thought I'd update from the online repo as suggested on the factory disribution page. There does not appear to be a way to do this in Yast (I think it used to be called software sources?

The nearest thing is online update configuration, however it says 'an error occurred while connecting to the server obviously. I am not trying to register at that server, I just want to add a manual repository.

Am I missing something? I also note that the OpenSuSE updater is locked on 'Finish Installation?' with a blue ? which I cannot seem to remove.

lslezak, duplicate?

Quentin: Use YaST -> Software -> Software Management -> Repositories -> Repository Management

(...or just run: `yast2 repositories`)

BTW: it might help to rename it to "Software and Repository Management"

Use the community repositories option, it can also add the update source.
