Description Andras Mantia 2008-04-26 18:38:21 UTC
In the Deploying image, Installing packages state the progress bar shows the percentage value in white, but the progress bar background is also white. This means the value is not visible until around 50% is reached.

Can you please provide more information how to reproduce this? Its not clear what "Deploying image" refers to. A screenshot of the issue would be also helpful.

I cannot give a screenshot at this moment, as that would mean starting to install the system again. The problem is when you start the installation from the DVD. There is a phase when the packages are copied from the medium to the hard disk. This is where the problem appears.

Just FYI for future bug reports about installation problems:

You don't need to actually perform an installation to make screenshots: Until you click "Install" in the final confirmation pop-up, nothing on your system is changed. It is perfectly safe to go through the motions of preparing an installation and to make screenshots and then simply not click "Install" in that final pop-up.
