What solution does kdm use? we're reading the /etc/sysconfig settings during startup (small patch in kdm). Note that zypper doesn't use SuSEconfig, so installing gdm with zypper will not have expected results. At least part of /sbin/conf.d/SuSEconfig.gdm can be removed now (thanks to the fix for bug #432360). I just removed most of SuSEconfig.gdm in Factory. However, it's still needed if we want gdm to respect DISPLAYMANAGER_PASSWORD_LESS_LOGIN. I have no idea how we can implement this another way :/ Found a way to fix this, see sr#50093. Fixed in G:F. |
